Said to contain better athletic performance in a bottle, Test-HP is a new testosterone booster from Betancourt Nutrition.

According to advertisements, Test-HP includes some innovative natural ingredients that raise testosterone levels more effectively than competing products. But is there really a lot to be said about a trademarked ingredient?

I’ll investigate Betancourt Nutrition’s claims to help you decide if Test-HP is an effective, appropriate choice for your testosterone needs.

Who Should Use Betancourt Nutrition Test-HP?

Betancourt Nutrition describes Test-HP as an “aid in the maintenance of testosterone levels and muscle mass using ingredients that have vitality increasing, anti-catabolic, and stress hormone health properties.”

But what does that mean, and is it right for you?

Simply put, Test-HP increases testosterone with natural ingredients. It’s not intended as an alternative for testosterone replacement therapy, so if you’re suffering from clinically low testosterone levels, Test-HP isn’t for you.

Instead, Test-HP is best suited for men looking to improve athletic performance, body composition, and general health by increasing testosterone production. If that describes you, you’re part of Test-HP’s intended audience.

Now let’s see if Test-HP has the ability to deliver to that audience.

What Ingredients Are in Test-HP?

Test-HP includes 3 vitamins, 1 trademarked ingredient, and a proprietary blend. Together there are about 8 active ingredients in this product, with an impressive 3.3-gram total.

You can find the total list on Betancourt Nutrition’s official website, but for now I’ll highlight the following ingredients:

Vitamin D (5000 IU)

Vitamin D is perhaps the most effective supplement you can take for raising testosterone levels. Perhaps that’s why Betancourt Nutrition chose to include it in a 1250 mg dose—the largest dosage in Test-HP.

Vitamin D is also scientifically proven. In a 2011 study, men taking vitamin D saw both an increase in total testosterone and free testosterone levels [1]. Men in a placebo group saw no improvement.

Testofen (600 mg)

Testofen is a trademarked ingredient based on the herb fenugreek. According to proponents, fenugreek treats erectile dysfunction by increasing testosterone levels. However, some argue that fenugreek operates without affecting testosterone production.

These critics are supported by a 2009 study in which men taking fenugreek saw no changes in their hormonal profiles throughout the course of the study [2].

Testofen makers, however, say their unique fenugreek blend is clinically-proven to increase free testosterone [3]. Unfortunately, I can’t verify this as the study has yet to be published. It’s also hard to trust studies funded by a company with a financial interest in the outcome.

Test-HP Proprietary Blend (920 mg)

Finally, Betancourt Nutrition also includes a proprietary blend of herbal ingredients and chemicals to both increase free testosterone levels and mimic the benefits of greater testosterone production.

I’m disappointed Betancourt Nutrition chose to include so many powerful ingredients in a proprietary blend instead of listing the ingredient quantities. However, perhaps the blend is large enough to include each ingredient’s recommended doses.

Stinging Nettle. Stinging nettle may not sound like something you want in your body, but the root has properties that lower sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) [4]. Because SHBG binds testosterone and takes it “out of commission,” that testosterone can’t be used to improve muscle tissue. This makes stinging nettle a good addition to any testosterone booster.

Rhodiola Rosea. Rhodiola doesn’t directly promote testosterone production, but it does mimic testosterone benefits. As an “adaptogen,” rhodiola is able to help your body cope with mental and physical stress. It also prevents cell damage and regulates heartbeat, which improves both sexual and athletic performance [5].

Phosphatidylserine. Phosphatidylserine improves athletic performance by preventing exercise-induces stress [6]. In this way, phosphatidylserine mimics some testosterone benefits without actually improving testosterone production.

7-Methoxyflavone (7-MF). Rounding out the formula is the aromatase inhibitor 7-MF. 7-MF decreases estrogen production, which allows more free testosterone to circulate through the body. However, you have to be careful with aromatase inhibitors like 7-MF—if you allow your estrogen levels to drop too low, sex drive may be negatively affected [7].

Nearly every ingredient in Test-HP is tested and proven effective for improving testosterone production. That’s something I like to see in a natural supplement. However, I’m concerned about the presence of a proprietary blend in Test-HP.

Why disclose some ingredient amounts and not others? It makes me worried that while Testofen and vitamin D may be included in their recommended doses, the ingredients in the Test-HP Proprietary Blend are not.

And because there are hardly any customer reviews posted about Test-HP, it’s impossible to turn to past users to fill in the blanks here. This is very disappointing.

What’s the Best Way to Use Test-HP?

Test-HP’s usage instructions are fairly straightforward. You can take Test-HP with or without a meal, as long as you take 3 capsules total throughout the day. This gives you some convenience by allowing you to choose when you take Test-HP.

Each bottle contains 90 capsules, so it should last a month if you use the maximum recommended dose.

Of course, you’ll see the best benefits if you live a lifestyle conducive to testosterone production in addition to taking Test-HP. For example, eating a diet high in “healthy fats” is a good way to raise testosterone levels naturally. Engaging in high-intensity exercise on a regular basis is also helpful.

Where Can You Buy Test-HP?

Test-HP appears to be a new product, so you’ll need to hunt for deals instead of relying on an aggregator like Google Shopping. On the official Betancourt Nutrition website, 1 Test-HP bottle retails for $59.99. However, there are a few better deals to be had elsewhere.

The best deals I found include:

i-Supplements.com
Price: $33.99, or 2 for $65.99

HealthSuperstore.com
Price: $35.09

MP Supplements.com
Price: $38.00

LowCostVitamins.net
Price: $38.95

BodyBuilding.com
Price: $39.29

Considering the discount availability, there’s no reason for you to pay full price for Test-HP.

What if You Need to Get in Touch With Customer Service?

If you do order from Betancourt Nutrition and need to get in touch, contact customer service by phone or by email. Phone hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern Time. The phone number is 1-800-541-0115.

Or, if it’s more convenient, go to BetancourtNutrition.com/ContactUs and fill out an email form. There, you’ll have to specify what information you’re requesting, as well as specify your name, number, and email address. If you include your order number, you’ll be helped more quickly.

Is Test-HP Worth a Shot?

Test-HP contains some good ingredients, but the proprietary blend and lack of customer reviews left me too doubtful to recommend this product.
If you find an exceptionally good deal on Test-HP, it might be worth a shot. However, there are better testosterone boosters that use the same ingredients to greater effect.

Virmax T Review

Virmax T was designed “to boost low testosterone levels without the use of artificial ingredients,” according to the product’s website.

Since Virmax T uses natural ingredients, it doesn’t require a prescription. It’s also supposed to be safer and naturally effective. So, is Virmax T worth buying?

Look over my review before you decide…

What’s Inside the Virmax T Formula?

The name “Virmax” comes from combining “virility” and “max.” Hence the company’s claim: “Virmax: Take your virility to the max!” But, are the ingredients powerful enough to back up this claim?

Tribulus Extract. Researchers believe tribulus extract boosts testosterone by releasing luteinizing hormones, which prompt the testes to produce more testosterone. Animal research shows tribulus extract increases testosterone.[1] And, a study involving men showed the extract elevates libido and improves erectile function.[2]

Fenugreek Extract. Saponins within fenugreek extract stimulate testosterone production. This was shown during a study in which men taking fenugreek extract dramatically raised their testosterone levels.[3]

Korean Ginseng Extract. Research is lacking to prove Korean ginseng extract boosts testosterone. However, several studies show the extract enhances libido and strengthens erections.[4][5][6]

Epimedium Extract. Also known as horny goat weed, epimedium extract is an alleged aphrodisiac. It contains icariin, which increases blood flow by releasing nitric oxide.[7] As a result, epimedium extract may make erections stronger and longer-lasting.

LJ100. LJ100 is a powerful eurycoma longifolia extract. I couldn’t find studies on LJ100 specifically, but there is a study on eurycoma longifolia. In the study, participants taking eurycoma longifolia increased testosterone levels to normal.[8] This is impressive because most participants had low testosterone before the study.

How to Use Virmax T

Each Virmax T box holds 30 tablets. The recommended dosage is 1 tablet a day, so the box lasts 30 days.

The manufacturer doesn’t say when to take Virmax T. Usually, the best time to take a testosterone supplement is 30 minutes before a meal or exercise. Virmax T can be taken before bedtime, too

For best results, eat a healthy diet and exercise consistently while using Virmax T. Its ingredients are powerful but may not be effective if users don’t practice healthy lifestyle habits.

Ingredient Safety

According to WebMD.com, tribulus terrestris is safe up to 8 weeks. No study has lasted longer than 8 weeks, so long-term safety is unknown.[9]

Fenugreek extract is safe but may cause diarrhea, stomach upset, and bloating.[9]

Korean ginseng extract is safe for less than 3 months but may be unsafe long-term. The most common side effect is insomnia.[9]

Some epimedium extracts are “possibly safe when used for up to 2 years,” says WebMD.com, but doesn’t specify which extracts.[9]

There aren’t enough studies involving LJ100 to prove definitively the ingredient is safe.

Are Effective Dosages Included?

The Virmax T website does not disclose the entire ingredient list, let alone dosages. I found the ingredient list on CVS.com, but it doesn’t disclose dosages either.

Virmax T must have proven dosages to be effective.

For example, clinical research shows 600 mg fenugreek extract elevates testosterone levels.[3] Smaller dosages were not tested so there’s no proof they are effective. If Virmax T doesn’t have 600 mg fenugreek extract, the ingredient won’t be effective – and the same goes for every other ingredient.

Since dosages are not disclosed, I don’t know if Virmax T has effective ingredient amounts.

Where to Buy Virmax T

The official website — VirmaxInfo.com — doesn’t sell Virmax T but rather refers customers to these online retailers:

Walgreens.com

•	$24.99 per box
•	Shipping costs $5.49
•	30-day return policy for opened/unopened items

CVS.com

•	$24.99 per box
•	Shipping costs $5.49
•	30-day return policy for damaged items

Drugstore.com

•	$24.99 per box
•	Shipping costs $5.99
•	30-day return policy for unopened items

Is Virmax T Worth Buying?

Virmax T uses the same ingredients as the best testosterone supplements. However, the manufacturer doesn’t reveal the dosages. Virmax T must have safe, effective dosages or the ingredients may be ineffective or cause side effects.

I turned to customer reviews for answers but was disappointed because there aren’t any online. Virmax T is affordable but is it a good value? Since critical ingredient information is lacking, I don’t know.

If you want an effective testosterone supplement, I recommend buying one with proven ingredients, the recommended dosages, and positive customer reviews.

MDrive Elite

Dream Brands claims “Mdrive Elite can help improve sustained energy and maximize the body’s athletic potential.”

Like other Mdrive products, Mdrive Elite is said to reverse aging’s effects by raising testosterone and helping you feel younger and more energetic.

I wondered if Mdrive Elite could really be the most elite of Mdrive products, so I looked a little further into this testosterone supplement to find out if it has what it takes to really help you increase testosterone levels and feel younger and more energized.

Comparison to Mdrive and MdrivePlus

Other than its higher price, Mdrive Elite is pretty similar to its Mdrive brothers. There a few differences, though, including:

•	You take 3 supplements instead of 2 .

•	Mdrive Elite is the only Mdrive supplement to improve sports performance. This is presumably due to its unique inclusion of KSM-66, which may lower fatigue and improve cardiovascular endurance.

•	Mdrive Elite is said to metabolize estrogen because it contains the estrogen blocker DIM.

Besides KSM-66 and DIM, though, Mdrive Elite has the same formula as its fellow Mdrive supplements.

Mdrive Elite Ingredients

Mdrive Elite contains many vitamins and minerals, including the testosterone-promoting zinc.[1] In addition, it has the following natural ingredients:

Diindolylmethane (50 mg). Although Diindolylmethane, or DIM, acts like estrogen, it also blocks estrogen’s effects. This exerts a positive effect on testosterone. [2]

Fenugreek Seed Extract (600 mg). Fenugreek treats digestive problems such as constipation and upset stomach. It’s claimed to raise testosterone, but studies do not support this claim. [3] It may cause diarrhea, bloating, congestion, and allergic reactions. [4]

KSM-66: Ashwagandha Extract (600 mg). Ashwaganda counteracts stress’ effects by treating fatigue. It may also improve cardiorespiratory endurance. [5] Nevertheless, it may cause allergic reaction or intensify hyperthyroidism. [6]

Cordyceps Sinensis Extract (500 mg). Cordyceps increases exercise endurance capacity in rats, but has yet to prove its worth in humans. [7]

Maitake Extact. Maitake lessens some effects of age such as hypertension, insulin sensitivity, and inflammation. [8]

American Ginseng Extract (100 mg). Ginseng strengthens the immune system and fights stress. But, it may cause insomnia, headache, and upset stomach. [9]

Maca Extract (65 mg). Though testosterone levels are not affected by maca, it does have a slight effect on sexual function on those with erectile dysfunction. <a style="text-decoration:none;" href="#reften”>[10]

Damiana Extract (45 mg). Damiana is an aphrodisiac and stamina-booster, with chemicals that affect the nervous system. In large amounts (more than 200 g), it could cause convulsions. [11]

BioPerine: Black Pepper Extract (5 mg). BioPerine increases bioavailability of all nutrients in Mdrive Elite. [12]

Mdrive Elite Side Effects

According to Dream Brands, Mdrive Elite hasn’t caused any side effects in users besides an allergic reaction in those sensitive to the ingredients.

However, some users on Amazon.com reported side effects such as insomnia and jitteriness.

Mdrive Elite Pricing

A 60-day supply of Mdrive Elite is available for $59.99 at both MDriveForMen.com and GNC.com. That’s about a dollar per pill.

Mdrive Plus is $49.99, while Mdrive Classic is $44.99. As I mentioned, I don’t see enough differences between the three products to warrant the higher price.

Mdrive Elite: The Bottom Line

Mdrive Elite does have some intriguing ingredients that target different aspects of aging. But, Mdrive Elite isn’t different enough from other Mdrive products to make it worthy of the “elite” title. And, there’s not any customer reviews on Mdrive Elite to tell us whether it is worth the high price.

I would pass on Mdrive Elite for now, until time proves it to be as elite as it claims.

Cellucor has announced that its “legendary anabolic supplement,” P6 Extreme Black, is coming back.

P6 Extreme Black’s resurrection announcement came 5 years after it was mysteriously taken from the shelves in 2008. But does this new version hold a candle to the one that made the name for P6 Extreme Black?

While Cellucor hasn’t released much information about P6 Extreme Black, many Cellucor fans are speculating. But rather than leave this product in shaded rumor, let’s explore what we do know about P6 Extreme Black.

Who Is Cellucor?

P6 Extreme Black’s manufacturer, Cellucor is an impressive company that designs and produces supplements that maximize work outs and results. In fact, one of its products, Super HD, received the “Best Product Innovation Award” from GNC in 2012.

It also has a great reputation with its customers and zero complaints have been filed with the Better Business Bureau in the last 3 years. Cellucor even enjoys an A+ rating with the BBB.[1]

Cellucor was also BodyBuilding.com’s supplement company of the month for July, 2010.

But coming from an impressive company is only half the battle. In order to provide powerful results, Cellucor has to have a powerful formula.

P6 Extreme Black Ingredients

Though Cellucor has not yet released an ingredient list for P6 Extreme black, the company has shared some facts about P6 Extreme Black’s formula.

According to the product’s official website, P6Black.com, P6 Extreme Black will feature “Nootropic Testosterone Technology”, which Cellucor claims provides the testosterone supplement with an unmatched “feel.”

Alpha-GPC
Alpha-GPC is a natural chlorine compound made from a fatty acid found in soy and other plants. It appears to increase acetylcholine in brain and is often used to promote cognitive functions such as memory.[2]

D-Serine
D-serine is an amino acid active in the brain that promotes receptor activity, stimulating more neurotransmissions.[3]

D-Aspartic Acid
D-aspartic acid is an amino acid that many believe boosts testosterone levels, increasing strength and boosting metabolism. Cellucor claims that this new form of d-aspartic acid doesn’t readily react with stomachs acids and “gets a ‘free-pass’ to the rest of the body”.[4]

P6 Extreme Black also contains another form of d-aspartic acid, magnesium chelate. But its effects are similar and mainly enhance those from d-aspartic acid.

P6 Extreme Black Potential Side Effects

Cellucor has not yet released any definitive information about P6 Extreme Black’s formula. However, since Cellucor has promised to include alpha-GPC, it’s possible P6 Extreme Black could cause heartburn, headaches, and insomnia.

But without the actual alpha GPC dosage P6 Extreme Black offers, the likelihood of side effects cannot be determined.

Should You Try P6 Extreme Black?

Though Cellucor has teased the public with information about P6 Extreme Black, the company is playing its release close to the chest. In addition to not releasing a full ingredient list, Cellucor hasn’t shared when they’ll be releasing P6 Extreme Black, nor have they stated how much the product will cost.

Despite P6 Extreme Black’s original popularity, a new formula means an entirely different game. Even though Cellucor offers pre-release discounts such as 50% off the retail price if you like the product on Facebook, it is worth waiting on P6 Extreme Black. Until you see comprehensive ingredients, and authentic customer reviews, look elsewhere for a performance enhancer.

Advertised as “the king of testosterone support!” manufacturers promise A-HD Powder is second to none when it comes to raising...

Advertised as “the king of testosterone support!” manufacturers promise A-HD Powder is second to none when it comes to raising testosterone levels.

But should A-HD Powder really be treated as royalty and put above all the other testosterone boosters or is it just a commoner with an inflated sense of self-worth?

I researched A-HD Powder to see if there’s any reason to choose it over competing supplements.

A-HD Powder’s Ingredients

Ingredients make or break health supplements. If the ingredients aren’t effective, the product isn’t effective. To help you raise testosterone production, A-HD Powder provides nine ingredients in one proprietary blend.

Safflower is found in many weight loss products and ensures a healthy cardiovascular system.[1] While it’s possible safflower’s effect on the cardiovascular system may boost vascularity, the ingredient’s effect on physical performance or testosterone is unproven.

Flaxseed is rich in acid alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which is converted into omega-3 fatty acids. Consequently, flaxseed helps lower cholesterol and improve overall cardiovascular health.[2]

In addition, some clinical studies show flaxseed helps lower androgen levels in males.[3] Lower androgen levels tend to promote more free testosterone in the blood which can be used to develop more lean muscle.

Blepharis was shown in a 2012 study to be a bronchodilator, thus improving airflow and delivering oxygen to the blood quicker.[4] With highly oxygenated blood and tissue, blepharis facilitates better athletic performance.

Ginger root was shown to increase testosterone production in rats.[5] Furthermore, ginger has thermogenic qualities and speeds fat burn.

Turmeric is a curcuminoid that improves the digestion and metabolism of fat.[5]

Indian kino tree is traditionally used to treat inflammation and diabetes. Modern studies show the ingredient lowers blood sugar levels,[6] which improves overall health but does not directly improve exercise or testosterone levels.

Artichoke improves digestion and contains strong antioxidants that protect the body from infections.[7] While artichoke benefits overall health, there is no evidence it affects testosterone production or fat burn.

Yohimbe bark. Many athletes use this ingredient to enhance training. A recent study found yohimbe bark improves athletic performance and can treat impotence.[8] However, there is no clinical research showing a correlation between yohimbe and testosterone.

Yohimbe bark is known for its dangerous side effects and is even banned from certain countries.

Propolis is a honey bee secretion that studies show significantly increases testosterone in animals.[9] It also contains strong antioxidant properties.

While BPI may talk big about A-HD Powder, the formula is somewhat disappointing. Most of the studies on these ingredients were done on animals, not humans. In fact, only flaxseed has a clinical study performed on its effects on humans.

Also, while some of the ingredients may affect testosterone production, even fewer are targeted at eliminating subcutaneous fat and water retention.

What About User Reviews?

Regardless of A-HD Powder’s questionable ingredients, the total formula gets great reviews. Currently on BodyBuilding.com, A-HD Powder has a high score of 9.2 out of 10 from 137 user reviews. Here is a sample of what users are saying about the product:

•	Armylos24 believes A-HD to be “one of the best if not the best test boosters I’ve ever used.”

•	Chrisnlax37 states that “I am on week 6 using this product and I have had good results. I recover quicker and am stronger because of it.”

•	Dusty31 simply says that he “would definitely recommend it to anyone trying to pack on some serious muscle.”

While A-HD Powder may not work for everyone, it appears many are happy with its results.

Are There Potential Side Effects?

A-HD Powder’s official website fails to list any possible side effects. Nevertheless, some ingredients are known to cause negative side effects. Many of them can cause bloating, diarrhea, and nausea.

Of particular concern is yohimbe, as it can cause skin flushing, rashes, dizziness, hallucinogenic effects, and raise your risk for seizures. Also, in doses of 100 mg or more, yohimbe is can cause heart attack, stroke, and even death.

How to Use A-HD Powder

Take one scoop daily each morning by mixing it with 8 ounces of cold water or preferred beverage.

A-HD Powder must be taken on a full stomach so take it after eating breakfast.

Where Can I Buy A-HD Powder?

A-HD Powder is available at various brick and mortar health stores at various prices. If you’re shopping online, the best deals are at the following vendors:

•	Amazon.com: $24.99 for one 112 gram tub
•	TigerFitness.com: $29.99 for one tub
•	A1Supplements.com: $30.95 for one tub

Alternatively, you can purchase A-HD Powder directly from BPI for $56.99.

Is There a Guarantee?

BPI provides a 30-day money back guarantee on A-HD Powder, though it’s a bit limited. Here are the requirements for a return BPI provides on its website:

1.	Product must be purchased directly from BPI
2.	Product must be unopened
3.	Product must be received by BPI within 30 days of purchase
4.	The original packaging slip is required for reimbursement[10]

Also note that there is a 15% re-stocking fee for any returns from BPISports.net. Consequently, you will probably get a better guarantee elsewhere.

So Should I Try A-HD Powder?

While there is nothing in A-HD Powder to justify its claim to testosterone booster royalty, it doesn’t look terrible. The ingredients aren’t very impressive, but you can’t overlook the amazing user reviews for A-HD Powder.

But if you want a testosterone supplement that is the entire package, you will have to look elsewhere.

Battle Fuel XT is rated among the top 50 products at BodyBuilding.com. And its company, Muscle Pharm, was awarded Brand of the Year in 2012 by BodyBuilding.com as well.

Battle Fuel XT seems to have everything going for it. But does its performance as a testosterone supplement live up to its reputation?

Who Is Muscle Pharm?

Muscle Pharm is led by former athletes with the goal that their products be safe and effective for today’s athletes.

“Athletes shape the MusclePharm vision,” CEO Brad Pyatt told ProSource.net. “It’s that simple.”

And that mission statement seems to be working for them. Not only is Battle Fuel XT highly ranked on BodyBuilding.com, but many other Muscle Pharm products enjoy high ratings as well.

Battle Fuel XT Ingredients

So what’s actually in this testosterone supplement? Besides vitamins and minerals, four categories, or stages, fuel Battle Fuel XT’s success:
•	Testosterone Amplifier
•	Testosterone Activator
•	Testosterone Muscle Growth Complex
•	Anti-Aromatase and Estrogen Suppression Matrix

It seems like Battle Fuel XT certainly has its testosterone bases covered. But let’s see if individual ingredients have what it takes.

Vitamins and Minerals

Vitamin D (600 IU). Vitamin D promotes calcium absorption, improves bone strength, and improves immune function. This helps athletes stay strong during workouts and suffer fewer injuries.

Magnesium (225 mg). Magnesium maintains muscle and nerve function along with heart rhythm and immune system health. It’s also involved in energy metabolism and protein synthesis.

Zinc (4 mg). Zinc could improve male fertility and athletic performance. It does so by promoting protein synthesis and immune function.

Advanced Four Stage Testosterone System (6,226 mg)

Stage One: Testosterone Amplifier

D-Aspartic Acid (3000 mg). This amino acid contributes to the metabolism of other amino acids, all of which are necessary to build and sustain muscle. Aspartic acid also stimulates the release of sex hormones including testosterone.

Mucuna Pruriens. Mucuna pruriens’ l-dopa content converts into the hormone dopamine. Healthy dopamine levels increase sexual function by enhancing a hormone that stimulates sexual organs. However, high dopamine is associated with unwanted sexual behaviors, such as addiction, fetishes, and unhealthy risk taking.

Astaracantha Longifolia Aquatic Extract. Preliminary studies with rodents have shown promise in this herb’s ability to raise sperm content and increase sexual behavior. But results are not yet proven in humans.

Stage Two: Testosterone Activator

N-Acetyl Carnitine. This amino acid is an important building block of muscle protein. N-acetyl carnitine is a form of l-carnitine made readily available for use in supplements.

Anacyclus Pyrethrum. The roots of this herb have aphrodisiac qualities. It shows promise in raising testosterone and increasing sperm count.

Curculigo Orchioides. Treating sexual dysfunction due to hyperglycemia is an interesting function of this flowering plant. In one study, it preserved sexual function in hyperglycemic male rats. [1]

Stage Three: Testosterone Muscle Growth Complex

Suma Extract. This plant helps the body adapt to stress, thereby treating male sexual performance and even increasing sexual desire.

Maca. Though maca increases sperm production and motility and even sexual desire, it is not proven to raise testosterone.

Propionyl Carnitine. Like curculigo, propionyl carnitine treats sexual dysfunction due to hyperglycemia or other diabetes characteristics. It’s also used as a treatment to raise testosterone.

Stage Four: Anti-Aromatase and Estrogen Suppression Matrix

Indole-3-Carbinol. This substance balances hormone levels, lessening estrogen and leading to increased testosterone.

DIM (Diindolylmethane). Derived from indole-3-carbinol, DIM may also block estrogen’s effects and thereby raise testosterone.

Battle Fuel XT Side Effects

Due to the natural ingredients in Battle Fuel XT, side effects are rare. It may cause minor side effects such as nausea or chest pain, however.

Taking Battle Fuel XT

Take 4 capsules in the morning and 4 capsules mid-afternoon or before exercise. For best results, use for 8 weeks, followed by a 5 to 7 day off period.

Battle Fuel XT Prices

You can purchase Battle Fuel XT for the following prices:
•	$38.99: MusclePharm.com
•	$34.47: BodyBuilding.com
•	$29.95: Amazon.com

A 160-capsule container will last you just 20 days, so you’ll need almost three bottles to take Battle Fuel XT for the recommended eight week period.

Battle Fuel XT: A Battle Won?

So how does Battle Fuel XT rate on the battle field? Users at BodyBuilding.com loved it; in fact, most gave it a rating of 10/10. Johnnyp135 said, “Bigger gains than I have ever seen.”

Nevertheless, Battle Fuel XT may be a bit pricey for the recommended dose. Although it has exceptional ratings, many may pay a higher price for Battle Fuel XT simply because it is a popular name. You can find similar formulas for a lower price elsewhere.

Panthera Primal Test

“True quality comes at a cost, often high, and that quality is often worth the extra expense,” says the Panthera Primal Test official website.

Supposedly, this supplement has the most expensive, powerful testosterone-boosting ingredient available, so it’s not cheap. But are the quality and results worth the extra expense?

I set out to find the answer by comparing the pros and cons. If the claims are true and the pros exceed the cons, then perhaps the extra cost for Panthera Primal Test will be worth paying.

Pros of Panthera Primal Test

•	Clinically proven ingredients
•	Strong dosages
•	Discounted prices

Cons of Panthera Primal Test

•	Company claims are unsupported
•	Mixed consumer feedback

Pro: Clinically Proven Ingredients

Panthera Primal Test only has 3 active ingredients:

Long Jack Extract (200 mg)
LJ 100 is a long jack extract with 40% glycosaponins and 22% eurypeptides. It’s more powerful than regular long jack, but not 100x more powerful, as the 100:1 ratio on the label leads consumers to believe.

The official website claims, “[LJ 100] has conclusively shown in 7 human clinical trials – an ability to increase DHEA, increase free testosterone, and decrease Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG).”

I found one study involving men with low testosterone. For 1 month, they consumed 200 mg long jack extract or a placebo. When the study ended, blood tests showed testosterone levels had increased dramatically in most men taking long jack extract.[1]

L-Arginine HCL (1000 mg)
The body converts L-arginine HCL into the chemical messenger nitric oxide, which signals blood vessels to widen.[2] As a result, blood flow increases; organs and muscles receive more oxygen; erections become stronger; the body heals faster; and cardiovascular health improves.

Niacinamide (50 mg)
Niacin and niacinamide come from the same source, but they don’t have the same benefits. Niacinamide does not promote vasodilation and lower cholesterol like niacin does. It may treat pellagra and osteoarthritis, and is frequently used in skin-care products.

Con: Company Claims Are Unsupported

First, the company claimed long jack extract was clinically proven to elevate testosterone in 7 human clinical trials. The next claim they make is this:

“In all subject test groups, free flowing testosterone increased 37-70%. This level of increase was noted across a wide age paradigm–ages 27-72.”

I could not find clinical studies proving long jack extract increases free testosterone 37-70% in all test subjects. And I did not find the 7 human clinical trials mentioned by the company.

The company doesn’t provide any information that would make it possible to find the studies. Consequently, I’m doubtful the studies even exist.

Pro: Strong Dosages in Every Serving

Panthera Primal Test lasts 30 days when used as directed. The bottle holds 60 capsules and you take 2 capsules (1 serving) a day.

One serving has the clinically proven dosage for long jack extract, which is 200 mg.[1]

There isn’t a recommended dosage for L-arginine, but 1,000 mg is a strong dosage.

50 mg niacinamide is the dosage medical experts recommend for treating vitamin B3 deficiency. It’s 400% Daily Value.

Con: Mixed Consumer Feedback

Not only are the reviews mixed, there are only 5 online. And I’m not even sure if the reviews apply to the current Panthera Primal Test. There was an earlier version and it seems some reviews may be for that one.

Even though the current product and original product share the same name, they are not the same if different ingredients were used. So, reviews for the original product wouldn’t tell me anything about the current one.

On SupplementReviews.com, 2 users gave Panthera Primal Test 3.5 out of 10 stars. One said it didn’t make any difference and wasn’t worth the cost. The other got better results at the gym, but he was using 5 supplements at the same time. Panthera Primal Test was only one of them.

FitFlex.com has 3 reviews, but 2 are dated back to 2008 and 2009. So, it’s likely they weren’t written about the current product. These reviews were very positive, which confused me because 1 user gave 3 out of 5 stars.

Pro: Discounted Prices

The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $69.95. That’s a high price to pay for a 30-day supply. Luckily, most retailers offer discounts.

PantheraLabs.com – $49.95 per bottle

The site has a page for its return policy, but it simply says, “Please contact customer service for more information on returning an item.”

It’s likely the company does not approve every return. For example, some companies only take back unopened, resalable products. To contact customer service, call 855-777-4625 or email Newsletter@PantheraLabs.eu.

Bodybuilding.com – $39.95 per bottle

Bodybuilding.com gives consumers 45 days to return used and unused products. However, unused products are refunded and used products receive store credit or a replacement. Call 877-991-3411 or email Service@Bodybuilding.com to arrange the return.

AllStarHealth.com – $30.49 per bottle

Unused and used products can be returned for a full refund. Used products must have at least 25% of the original content. Before returning, call customer service at 800-875-0448 to receive a return authorization number. Products must be returned within 30 days of purchase.

Is Panthera Primal Test Worth Trying?

Panthera Primal Test is expensive because its key ingredient is supposedly very powerful, high-quality, and clinically proven. However, the company doesn’t support the claims about long jack extract by providing research. And I don’t feel like paying a high price for unsupported claims.

Some leading testosterone supplements cost a lot, but they actually do have powerful, clinically proven ingredients. So, in these cases, the price is worth paying. But Panthera Primal Test is overpriced and the pros don’t outweigh the cons.

I recommend buying one of the best testosterone supplements, not Panthera Primal Test.

Claiming to be the “sexiest product, ever”, Magnum Instincts promises to boost male sexual performance. Magnum Instincts claims to increase testosterone, confidence, and vigor with all-natural, proven ingredients.

Sounds nice, but we’ve danced this dance before. Many male enhancement products make promises but then don’t deliver. Is Magnum Instincts any different?

The Ingredients

Magnum Instincts packs eight interesting and potent ingredients into its performance-boosting formula.

Carnosyn beta alanine (170 mg) is a patented form of beta alanine that is easily absorbed. Beta alanine is important amino acid that it is converted into carnosine, an important peptide in muscle tissue.[1] Carnosine boosts muscle function resulting, in better physical endurance and more effective muscle growth and repair.

Cordyceps sinensis (150 mg) it was shown to increase testosterone levels in animals.[2] While these results are exciting, there are no studies on how it may affect humans.

Epimedium (140 mg), famously nicknamed “horny goat weed”, is a popular ingredient found in many male enhancement products. While many men swear the ingredient improves sexual performance, human clinical evidence is severely lacking.[3]

Maca powder (100 mg) is a traditional Peruvian treatment for male infertility. Modern studies support this traditional use and show the ingredient boosts libido and sexual performance in rats.[4]

L-citrulline malate (100 mg) plays an important role in enhancing nitric oxide production.[5] Nitric oxide helps improve physical performance and muscle growth by enlarging blood vessels and facilitating greater blood flow. With more blood flow, it will also be easier to obtain erection.

Lycium barbarum (75 mg), better known as the goji berry, is a traditional Chinese remedy for male sexual dysfunction. However, while studies show it does improve sexual performance fertility in rats,[6] there is no evidence the ingredient does the same for humans.

L-lysine (50 mg) is an amino acid active in lean muscle growth and repair. It also is crucial for converting fatty acids into energy,[7] boosting physical stamina.

Zinc monomethionine (15 mg) speeds zinc absorption by binding it to the amino acid methionine.[8] Zinc is found in many testosterone products but studies of its effect on testosterone production are mixed. For example, one study found zinc blocks testosterone from converting into estrogen. However, another study found no connection between zinc and testosterone.

While advertisements may talk big, most of the ingredients in Magnum Instincts are not proven. Clinical studies may have been performed on all of them, but the studies were limited to animals. Consequently, this formula is a gamble for how it affects humans.

Magnum Instincts User Feedback

User reviews are helpful when a product’s formula isn’t obviously effective. Unfortunately, there are no user reviews available for Magnum Instincts, leaving the product’s efficacy up in the air.

Are There Potential Side Effects?

With many male performance boosters, there is a chance of side effects. The question is, does the risk outweigh the benefits?

Any of the amino acids in Magnesium Instinct can become toxic in excess, harming cells and organs, so stick to the recommended dosage. Also, epimedium and lyceum barbarum are known to cause dizziness and nausea.

How To Take Magnum Instincts

Simply take two capsules with a glass of warm water at least 40 minutes prior to sexual activity.

For fastest results, take Magnum Instincts two hours after a meal.

Purchasing Magnum Instincts

Magnum Instincts can currently be found online from various Canada-based vendors. The best prices include:

•	SVNCanada.com: $59.95 for 10 capsules
•	BodyBuilding.com: $49.99 for 10 capsules
•	VitaMart.ca: $59.97 for 10 capsules

The average price comes out to be about $5.00 per capsule which is rather steep. And when you consider the fact that one dose is two capsules, Magnum Instincts is almost laughably overpriced.

When you pay money like this, you expect some sort of guarantee. In Magnum Instincts case, we can’t tell if it’s backed by a guarantee. The only information the company provides about the company’s return policy is that it’s “coming soon.”[9]

Final Thoughts

While Magnum Instincts has potential, it doesn’t deliver on many important points. First, the ingredients are unproven and can cause side effects. Second, there are no user reviews on the product. And lastly, it’s expensive and may not be backed by a guarantee.

For these reasons, we suggest you pass on Magnum Instincts and find another performance booster.

Less testosterone means less energy, muscles, and libido. Consequently, there are a lot of testosterone boosters crowding the market. But TestoSerum claims it’s more than the average testosterone booster.

TestoSerum asserts its uniqueness with a natural formula and topical applicator, which studies show to be much more effective than oral supplements.

Sounds promising, but TestoSerum is going to need more than promises to beat out the best testosterone supplements. Can TestoSerum deliver or should it step back into the crowd?

What’s in TestoSerum?

To prompt more testosterone production, TestoSerum packs many natural and effective ingredients into its formula. The five most powerful and effective ingredients are:

Tribulus terrestris has long been in used in Asia to improve sexual function in men. Modern studies corroborate this use and show this ingredient significantly raises testosterone levels.[1]

This means tribulus terrestris mimics the benefits that come with more testosterone including energy, lean muscle mass, and libido.

7 Keto DHEA is a by-product of dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), a hormone converted into testosterone. The body uses 7 Keto DHEA to speed up metabolism and heat production, resulting in greater fat burn, weight loss, and lean muscle mass.[2]

Yohimbine is a popular natural ingredient that raised thermogenesis in studies, resulting in significant weight loss.[3] It is also well known for its libido-raising properties.

L-arginine is an amino acid that is converted into nitric oxide. Nitric oxide prompts vasodilation, or the widening of blood vessels. This allows for more blood flow, improving oxygen delivery to muscles when you need it most.[4]

L-arginine also helps build proteins and speeds up lean muscle tissue development and repair.

5-methyl-7-methoxyisoflavone promotes protein synthesis and lean muscle growth. A recent clinical study found that athletes using this ingredient experienced significantly greater increases in muscle mass than athletes who didn’t use it.[5]

Upon review, we were impressed with the quality of ingredients we saw in TestoSerum’s formula. All five of its most prevalent ingredients were shown in clinical studies to be very effective at boosting energy, promoting testosterone, and burning fat.

Are There Potential Side Effects?

Though TestoSerum’s ingredients are natural, they are very powerful and there is a possibility of side effects. For example, yohimbine can cause rapid heartbeat and other side effects. However, it is most likely safe in doses less than 100 g, like it is in TestoSerum.

That being said, we were unable to find any user reviews complaining of side effects from taking TestoSerum.

How Do I Use TestoSerum?

For best results, apply to clean dry skin with the least amount of hair. Apply ½ teaspoon, roughly 4 pumps, 30 minutes before sexual activity or exercise.

TestoSerum is not intended for oral consumption.

Where Can I Buy TestoSerum?

TestoSerum can be purchased from multiple online vendors:

•	TestoSerum.com – as low as $43.31 for one bottle (2 oz.)
•	eSupplements.com — $45.95 for one bottle (2 oz.)
•	Amazon.com — $44.95 for one bottle (2 oz.)

Is There Any Sort of Guarantee?

With pictures of incredibly ripped men, Alpha T1 promises to help you perform better in the gym. Alpha T1 also claims to boost testosterone, increase muscle mass, and even improve libido.

Those are a lot of tall promises for just one product. Can Alpha T1 deliver on its promises?

What Are the Ingredients?

Ingredients make or break a product. Alpha T1 packs 10 potent ingredients into its formula:

D-aspartic acid is an amino acid found primarily in the pituitary gland and testicles. A 2009 study shows it facilitates testosterone’s release and utilization.[1]

Tribulus terrestris is a natural ingredient traditionally used to boost libido and performance. Modern studies support this use and have found that the ingredient significantly increases libido and performance in male animals.[2]

Testosterone advantage (Calcium fructate) is a patented form of boron. A 2010 clinical study on human males shows boron increases free testosterone levels.[3]

Forslean is a proprietary form of forskohlin, a tropical plant-based ingredient that many studies show significantly decreases body fat percentage and fat mass.[4]

Horny goat weed is another natural male enhancement ingredient that has been used for years to boost libido and performance. In fact, a recent study shows that it enhances penile erection.[5]

Eurycoma longifolia is a popular traditional herb used to improve libido and performance. Recent studies support this use and find that the ingredient does improve sex drive in male animals.[6]

Deer antler velvet is clinically proven to significantly increases strength and endurance in men.[7]

7-Keto DHEA is a by-product of dehyrodepiandrosterone (DHEA), a chemical precursor to steroid hormones. While 7-Keto DHEA itself, doesn’t convert into testosterone, it does boost thermogenesis, resulting in fat burn and weight loss.[8]

Alpha GPC (50%) is a natural chlorine compound that appears to increase human growth hormone (HGH) secretion.[9] HGH in turn is often used to increase muscle mass and reduce body fat.[10]

AstraGin is a patented chemical compound used to facilitate absorption of nutrients.[11] It is included in Alpha T1 to enhance absorption of T1’s other ingredients.

Bioperine is a patented form of black pepper. Recent studies show that black pepper fights fat by blocking the formation of fat cells.[12]
