Panthera Primal Test

Panthera Primal Test“True quality comes at a cost, often high, and that quality is often worth the extra expense,” says the Panthera Primal Test official website.

Supposedly, this supplement has the most expensive, powerful testosterone-boosting ingredient available, so it’s not cheap. But are the quality and results worth the extra expense?

I set out to find the answer by comparing the pros and cons. If the claims are true and the pros exceed the cons, then perhaps the extra cost for Panthera Primal Test will be worth paying.

Pros of Panthera Primal Test

• Clinically proven ingredients
• Strong dosages
• Discounted prices

Cons of Panthera Primal Test

• Company claims are unsupported
• Mixed consumer feedback

Pro: Clinically Proven Ingredients

Panthera Primal Test only has 3 active ingredients:

Long Jack Extract (200 mg)
LJ 100 is a long jack extract with 40% glycosaponins and 22% eurypeptides. It’s more powerful than regular long jack, but not 100x more powerful, as the 100:1 ratio on the label leads consumers to believe.

The official website claims, “[LJ 100] has conclusively shown in 7 human clinical trials – an ability to increase DHEA, increase free testosterone, and decrease Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG).”

I found one study involving men with low testosterone. For 1 month, they consumed 200 mg long jack extract or a placebo. When the study ended, blood tests showed testosterone levels had increased dramatically in most men taking long jack extract.[1]

L-Arginine HCL (1000 mg)
The body converts L-arginine HCL into the chemical messenger nitric oxide, which signals blood vessels to widen.[2] As a result, blood flow increases; organs and muscles receive more oxygen; erections become stronger; the body heals faster; and cardiovascular health improves.

Niacinamide (50 mg)
Niacin and niacinamide come from the same source, but they don’t have the same benefits. Niacinamide does not promote vasodilation and lower cholesterol like niacin does. It may treat pellagra and osteoarthritis, and is frequently used in skin-care products.

Con: Company Claims Are Unsupported

First, the company claimed long jack extract was clinically proven to elevate testosterone in 7 human clinical trials. The next claim they make is this:

“In all subject test groups, free flowing testosterone increased 37-70%. This level of increase was noted across a wide age paradigm–ages 27-72.”

I could not find clinical studies proving long jack extract increases free testosterone 37-70% in all test subjects. And I did not find the 7 human clinical trials mentioned by the company.

The company doesn’t provide any information that would make it possible to find the studies. Consequently, I’m doubtful the studies even exist.

Pro: Strong Dosages in Every Serving

Panthera Primal Test lasts 30 days when used as directed. The bottle holds 60 capsules and you take 2 capsules (1 serving) a day.

One serving has the clinically proven dosage for long jack extract, which is 200 mg.[1]

There isn’t a recommended dosage for L-arginine, but 1,000 mg is a strong dosage.

50 mg niacinamide is the dosage medical experts recommend for treating vitamin B3 deficiency. It’s 400% Daily Value.

Con: Mixed Consumer Feedback

Not only are the reviews mixed, there are only 5 online. And I’m not even sure if the reviews apply to the current Panthera Primal Test. There was an earlier version and it seems some reviews may be for that one.

Even though the current product and original product share the same name, they are not the same if different ingredients were used. So, reviews for the original product wouldn’t tell me anything about the current one.

On SupplementReviews.com, 2 users gave Panthera Primal Test 3.5 out of 10 stars. One said it didn’t make any difference and wasn’t worth the cost. The other got better results at the gym, but he was using 5 supplements at the same time. Panthera Primal Test was only one of them.

FitFlex.com has 3 reviews, but 2 are dated back to 2008 and 2009. So, it’s likely they weren’t written about the current product. These reviews were very positive, which confused me because 1 user gave 3 out of 5 stars.

Pro: Discounted Prices

The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $69.95. That’s a high price to pay for a 30-day supply. Luckily, most retailers offer discounts.

PantheraLabs.com – $49.95 per bottle

The site has a page for its return policy, but it simply says, “Please contact customer service for more information on returning an item.”

It’s likely the company does not approve every return. For example, some companies only take back unopened, resalable products. To contact customer service, call 855-777-4625 or email Newsletter@PantheraLabs.eu.

Bodybuilding.com – $39.95 per bottle

Bodybuilding.com gives consumers 45 days to return used and unused products. However, unused products are refunded and used products receive store credit or a replacement. Call 877-991-3411 or email Service@Bodybuilding.com to arrange the return.

AllStarHealth.com – $30.49 per bottle

Unused and used products can be returned for a full refund. Used products must have at least 25% of the original content. Before returning, call customer service at 800-875-0448 to receive a return authorization number. Products must be returned within 30 days of purchase.

Is Panthera Primal Test Worth Trying?

Panthera Primal Test is expensive because its key ingredient is supposedly very powerful, high-quality, and clinically proven. However, the company doesn’t support the claims about long jack extract by providing research. And I don’t feel like paying a high price for unsupported claims.

Some leading testosterone supplements cost a lot, but they actually do have powerful, clinically proven ingredients. So, in these cases, the price is worth paying. But Panthera Primal Test is overpriced and the pros don’t outweigh the cons.

I recommend buying one of the best testosterone supplements, not Panthera Primal Test.
