Because testosterone levels decline as men age, excess body fat accumulates. And this increase in accumulated fat slows testosterone production even more.
Apparently, Troxyphen can break this cycle by restoring testosterone levels. Troxyphen contains testosterone-boosting ingredients as well as fat-burning stimulants. Read on to learn more about this fat burning testosterone booster.
Where Does Troxyphen Come From?
Troxyphen is a new product from Truderma, a rising star in the health supplement industry that has been around since 2010. Their goal is to help their customers lead a healthier, happier life.
Truderma says that their “core values and vision stem from the point of view of our customers.” Truderma guarantees 100% customer satisfaction and wants their income to lead to more investment for their customers.
In a world of supplement companies designed to make money rather than improve the lives of their customers, Truderma sounds like a sigh of relief. Let’s see if Troxyphen fits within the company’s mission.
What’s in Troxyphen?
In order to see if Troxyphen lives up to its claims, we need to look closer at individual ingredients.
Test Boosting Blend (500 mg)
Testofen: Fenugreek Extract Standardised for 50% Fenuside (300 mg). This particular brand of fenugreek extract has 50% fenusides, glycosides that boost testosterone. Like other fenugreek extracts, it increases libido and supports healthy sexual function.
L-Arginine Pyroglutamate. Arginine helps make creatine, which supplies energy to muscles. It also promotes the release of growth hormones, making it a popular ingredient for athletes and body builders.
Tribulus Terrestris. Another popular body building ingredient, this flowering plant is said to restore testosterone levels. It may also build muscle and improve sexual function.
Potency Wood Extract. The bark and root of this flowering plant increase sex drive and improve sexual performance.
Saw Palmetto Extract. A fruit extract, saw palmetto is used to treat conditions in the reproductive system.
Muira Puama Powder Extract (Leaf). Whether the leaf from potency wood has the same benefits as the bark and root is undetermined.
DHEA-Dehydroepiandrosterone (1 mg). This steroid hormone is a precursor to testosterone. It stimulates sex organs and enhances male characteristics like testosterone. But it’s unclear if and how it raises testosterone levels.
Thermogenic Shred Blend (223 mg).
Caffeine Anhydrous (200 mg). Caffeine is a fat-burning stimulant that increases energy and improves metabolism. But its fat burning powers have two sides, because it may also affect blood sugar levels and increase unhealthy cravings. Caffeine can cause nausea, jitters, headache, and other side effects.
Synephrine Caprylate (20 mg). When ephedrine was banned, synephrine stepped up to replace it. This extract from bitter orange stimulates fat burning. But, like ephedra, it also stimulates the heart and can increase chance of heart attack.
Yohimbine HCl (3 mg). The active ingredient in yohimbe bark blocks alpha 2 receptors from storing fat. It also treats erectile dysfunction. However, it can increase risk of heart attack and seizure and is banned in many countries and athletic organizations.
BioperineTM (2 mg). Ingredient absorption is aided by this pepper extract.
Does Troxyphen Have Side Effects?
As was mentioned, yohimbine and synephrine increase chance of heart attack and stroke. They could also cause rapid heartbeat, shortness of breath, dizziness, and severe headache.
In addition, the caffeine content may cause nausea and jitters in some users.
The change in hormone levels from Troxyphen could cause acne, hair loss, facial hair growth (in women), aggressiveness, irritability, and increased estrogen levels.
Don’t take Troxyphen if you have medical conditions or have a family history of such.
Should I Buy Troxyphen?
Troxyphen is a new product from a new company. It appears to have the ingredients to boost testosterone levels and burn fat. But there are no customer reviews to tell us how it’s worked on real people. Due to this factor as well as the high side effect risk, I don’t feel comfortable recommending Troxyphen at this time.
If you do decide to try it, however, it’s available for $69.99 at Truderma.com and for $55.99 at GNC.com. Leave a comment and let us know how it worked for you so we know whether we should recommend it.
In the meantime, there are effective testosterone boosters out there that are a little safer.
